Deloitte's Fast 50 Award

Established just four years ago, Refresh Renovations has ranked 28th in Deloitte’s Fast 50, announced at the awards on 6 November. This recognises Refresh as the fastest growing building company in New Zealand, across the residential and commercial sectors.

Not all businesses take off like a rocket, but Refresh Renovations has done just that establishing 35 branches nationwide within the first four years at 292.35% growth.

“Refresh’s offer and business model is unique in the world, and we have developed an approach which radically improves the customer experience and the value we can deliver. Our business was designed from the outset to be internationally scalable,” says a director of Refresh, Jon Bridge.

Since its conception in Auckland four years ago Refresh has rapidly expanded to 35 branches nationwide and is already highly profitable, with annual revenues heading toward $20 million.
Jon says the business has just scratched the surface in terms of what it aims to achieve in New Zealand, and they are confident they have the right business model to succeed overseas as well.
Being the first national design and build renovation brand, Refresh has a significant first mover advantage. Refresh is now entering Australia, to be followed by the U.S.
“We are currently establishing Refresh in Australia, and we intend to enter the U.S. soon after. It’s an exciting time and we are confident we have the business strategy and business model that will make Refresh an international success story.”
Refresh Renovations was established by Traffic, New Zealand’s leading business strategy and marketing firm, in 2010; establishing Refresh as the leading national renovation company.
Refresh offers a design and build renovation service with a key focus on efficient delivery through project management, designing to the budget and building to the budget.
The Deloitte Fast50 award adds to the already substantial recognition the company has received, including winning a ‘Best in Class’ award in New York last year for their website in the construction industry globally. The award saw Refresh in fine company, with McDonalds winning the food category, Disney winning the entertainment category and GoPro winning the consumer goods category.
