Narelle worked in the IT industry with a 20-year career spanning service delivery, account management, and sales leadership. A passionate customer advocate with a focus on successful outcomes sees her sit at many executive and board tables discussing multi-million dollar contracts.

Friends and colleagues would describe her as a little bit obsessive-compulsive with a dose of ADHD as she is constantly on the move and has an over-zealous need to have many, many projects on the go at any given point in time.

Her sense of accomplishment and satisfaction comes from achieving successful outcomes for every project or opportunity she touches.

On the side, however, is a closet tradie that surfaced when Narelle was just 20 years old and built her first home on a block of land that had an 18m drop from the back of the block to the street. It was a Queensland pole home and with a price tag for the block of land at just $35,000, the vision of palm fronds swaying over a western red cedar veranda became a reality. She was constantly visiting the workshops of her employer borrowing everything from belt-sanders to concrete screeds to put in the trailer, attached to her trusty old Ford Laser, in pursuit of this northern Queensland dream. Narelle’s constant “need” for projects, however, has been gaining momentum in recent years as a passion became a profit-making venture with her projects moving between new builds and renovating old. So much so that in the last 6 years their family has moved 4 times to start the next project. Now what is obsessive about that?
