Rick Lee Gold Coast Construction Manager
Rick moved to the Gold Coast in the early 1970’s as a teenager and started in the building industry in 1976 completing a carpentry apprenticeship with a local Gold Coast hands-on builder. He learnt a lot of varied building skills during his apprenticeship. Rick became a licensed builder in 1991 and since then has held many positions including Construction Manager, Building/Site Supervisor, Contract Builder, Carpenter and Electrician.
He managed his own successful building company for 38 years with projects including the construction of many new homes and commercial structures as well as hundreds of renovations and extensions on the Gold Coast.
Having raised five children, now all adults and finding their own career paths, Rick’s interests include camping, hiking, surfing and paddleboarding.
Rick has solid interpersonal skills developed through extensive liaison with private and commercial clients, councils, certifiers, architects and engineers.
One of Rick’s major strengths is his ability for lateral thinking and problem solving which is applied to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time whilst maintaining quality. Together with a positive attitude, professional hands-on approach and a proven track record of delivering high standards, Rick is a highly valued member of the Gold Coast Refresh Renovations team.
