Good design is about both function as well as form, and choosing the right tapware to suit your water pressure is key to reliable operation and optimal performance, while ensuring fittings are easy to install and maintain.
Ideal Standard has introduced a new range of IVT tapware. With improved water flow and smoother temperature control, the intelligent multi-pressure tapware range is all about comfort and safety. It has been specifically designed to perform well. Similarly, the intelligent shower valve provides an invigorating water flow, and the tub fillers fill your bathtub much faster.

Greater water flow

As well as enlarging the internal waterways, the intelligent valve as dedicated Shower or Bath outlets. So what does this mean? Greater water volume, a more invigorating shower and a faster fill for your bath. Note: The shower mixer is not a diverter mixer. One outlet must be capped off using the brass cap provided.

Better cartridge and warranty

The exclusive SEDAL Multiport Ceramic Cartridge is specifically chosen for New Zealand water pressure conditions and is designed to allow a much higher flow rate whilst mixing the hot and cold water. This new cartridge technology comes with a Lifetime Drip Free Warranty.

Safer and smoother control

The smooth handling of the lever creates effortless precision when adjusting water flow or temperature. On top of that the mixer is equipped with an extra wide operating angle providing ultimate comfort and safety.

Easier to install and maintain

The shower valve is one unit, which means fewer parts, less work and less chance for leaks behind the wall. The complete mixer is also designed to fit into a 75mm wall cavity. Should maintenance be required, then all components of the shower valve can be accessed from the front after removal of the faceplate, without the necessity to disconnect any of the watertight pipe joints and without damage to the wall (access the isolators by removing the Faceplate Trim Ring).
